“My work is a reflection of my creative and empathic nature; it is expressive, innovative, connective, human.”

Lydia Rose
So happy to see my article ‘An Islington Gal’s T on Inequality’ printed in @cubitt_gallery Community Press 💗 💫 Would you like to join an engaging community platform for artists, storytellers, healers, movers and shakers? Last June, I was invited to speak at @cooperativesuk National Youth Summit to share my insights on running a cooperative organisation. 2024 ❤️‍🩹 So proud of us 💗 Thank you @sadeh_farm and all the beautiful people, plants, animals and fungi I’ve met over the past two weeks for all the incredible learning, connection, ceremonies and celebration 💕 🌱 🍄 📖 ✡️ 🍉 10 years ago, when I had just survived rape, I wrote the words “This Body of Mine” without knowing why or what it would lead to. Now, a decade later, I am releasing my debut spoken word album with those very words as its title. Rest is a radical act of resistance ✊🏼 and I couldn’t have found a more beautiful place to slow down, breathe and refill my cup 💕 Last night I showcased my painting at a group exhibition at @bprojectspace organised by @skaped as the finale to their wonderful Community Artivism programme.
